Sienna Ranch Romping Zone (RZ) is a 1000 square foot safe,
fenced, outdoor play area designed for children ages 18 months to 4
years
old. The purpose of the Romping
Zone is to provide an outdoor natural space for young kids to play and
interact
with plants and animals. Children
who explore, learn and play outside on a regular basis are healthier,
happier,
more intelligent, more creative, and more cooperative. In the Romping
Zone,
kids can get dirty, have their curiosity inspired, and connect with
nature.
The
Romping Zone has no plastic toys or institutionalized curriculum. It is a
natural outdoor play space made from many objects found on the ranch and
designed to be safe for young ranch rompers!
Siblings under 18 mos. may attend as long as parent brings
stroller or front/backpack for the child.
Caregiver Responsibilities

FUTURE OFFERINGS
Special programs, to be scheduled periodically, include
creative (messy!) art projects, gross and fine motor activities,
music, snack time, and circle time. The facilitator oversees the
class
and will get to know each toddler.
Sometimes, children will enjoy
visits from
small ranch animals including
chickens, goats, and rabbits. (These visits will be specifically noted in the program description, as they are not a regular event.)
