New this year! Sienna Ranch offers and unique setting for this new Middle School Science Series all focused on the Earth. Sienna Ranch instructor and scientist, Chris Lauf, will be offering middle schoolers a series of hands-on, inquiry based science classes at Sienna Ranch.
Curriculum is developed based on the popular Lawrence Hall of Science GEMS guides and collaboration with the new permaculture and sustainability project at Sienna Ranch entitled "Eco-Ranch"
Classes are held Mondays or Friday,
Each session is 8 weeks
Cost per session- $255 (includes $25 materials fee), 2nd child- $230
Max class size- 10 students
Session 1: This class is not offered in Session 1
Session 2: Earth Science- Plate Tectonics, Rocks and Minerals, and Physical Geography
Dates: Nov 4- Jan 20 (no class 11/11, 11/25, 12/23, and 12/30)

Dates: Jan 27-Mar 23
GEMS guides: Only one Ocean and Ocean Currents
Session 4: Earth Science- Ecology and Environmental Issues
Dates: Apr 13-June 1
