Sienna Ranch “Farm Hands” is a program which allows children to have an opportunity to experience close interaction with Sienna Ranch’s many animals including chickens, ducks, goats, and horses, led by one of Sienna Ranch’s animal care staff members. The goal of this program is to allow children to enjoy repeat visits to the ranch, which fosters relationships and bonds with the animals. Additionally, children will learn responsibility and respect as they experience what it means to care for and nurture other living beings.
If your group is larger than 8 OR you would like to extend your visit to the ranch, consider adding our Tracking Hike and Craft. Students will spend an additional hour hiking the hills of Sienna Ranch searching for evidence of wild animals who have visited the ranch. They will hike to the "Faraway Tree", spend some time climbing its majestic branches, then end their Tracking Hike at our tracking box where they will have an opportunity to make plaster casts of the animal tracks they find there! Our Tracking Hike leaders are experienced outdoorsemen and naturalists with a wealth of "nature knowledge"!
Cost: $100 (max group size- 8 students)
